IRWINDALE RACING: Teenagers steal the show
The future of Super Late Model racing at Toyota Speedway at Irwindale was on display in front of approximately 1,800 on Saturday night, with teenagers Dusty Davis, Ryan Reed and Randel King side-by-side-by-side for the final lap after a green-white-checkered restart on the 48th lap of the Pepsi One series.
IRWINDALE NOTEBOOK: Davis still enjoying first Super Late Model victory
The 17-year-old was finally able to climb atop a podium after a Super Late Model main event. He never could do it at the Las Vegas Bullring, a track less than a half mile from his Vision Air race shop, but in his 13th race at Toyota Speedway at Irwindale, Davis was able to help give his team a pair of victories. Teammate Justin Johnson won the Twin 40s opener.

Dusty Davis Scores Win at Woodbine National Championships
Dusty Davis of Las Vegas, NV, took his spot in the winner’s circle with a first place finish in the Snap-on Stars of Karting National Championship Final this past weekend at the Woodbine Entertainment Complex in Toronto, Ontario. Competing in the Junior ICA class, Davis was the only American in the top five, beating out contenders from Cuba, Columbia and Canada.
